Terry Haskins Memorial Award

Last night the Greenville County Republican Party presented Garry with the Terry Haskins Memorial Award.

Terry Haskins served Greenville County for many years as the House member from District 22. He is widely held as the person responsible for the elimination of video poker in South Carolina. Terry also served for several years as the Speaker Pro-Tempore of the House.

Terry died prematurely of melanoma.

"It is an honor to receive this award because of the charactor and contributions of the person it is named for" Garry said in receiving the award.
